Surveillance video released from violent bank robbery

PASADENA, TX It happened back on August 4 at around 9:30am. Three masked armed men entered the IBC bank inside the H-E-B grocery store at 6201 Fairmont Parkway. Police say one suspect armed with a shotgun stood watch outside the store, as the other two assaulted two employees and forced them to open the bank safe.

The suspects reportedly got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. They fled in a vehicle driven by a fourth suspect. That vehicle was later found abandoned.

An investigation led to charges against Marcu Rosemond Tarpley (pictured above) in the case. He's described as an African-American male, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing about 180 pounds. He last known address is in Cleveland, Texas, but police say he has associates in northwest Houston.
