HOUSTON --A suspect has now been charged in the fatal love triangle shooting of a man in southeast Houston. Quentin Jerome Bell, 28, is charged with murder. He is accused in the killing of Willis Petty, 29, who is the boyfriend of Bell's ex-girlfriend. Police say Petty had recently begun to date a woman, who lives in the 1200 block of Teal. Bell, who was three children with that woman, became jealous. On Saturday, February 5 at around 5pm, Bell got into an argument with Petty and shot Petty several times. Bell fled the scene, but later turned himself in to police. Petty suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
