Suspected drunk driver dies in rollover crash

A suspected drunk driver was killed after losing control of her vehicle on railroad tracks in northeast Houston.

A suspected drunk driver was killed when she lost control of her vehicle going over some railroad tracks in northeast Houston.

It happened around 3:15am Sunday morning at the tracks on Homestead near Miley, just north of the 610 Loop. Family members say the victim was driving home from a bar after a night of drinking. Police say she was speeding over the tracks when she lost control, hit a curb, and rolled over several times.

The woman was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Police say she was not wearing a seat belt.

Her identity has not yet been released.
