The second blast sparked a huge blaze that engulfed several workshops and raged throughout the night. Rescue officials recovered four more bodies at the site, increasing the number of fatalities there to 10.
Explosions in Turkish capital, killing at least 17
ANKARA, Turkey
Authorities say Friday they are investigating the cause of the
blasts which shook the same area of Ankara hours apart on Thursday.
A possible malfunctioning of an oxygen tank is believed to have
caused the first blast which partly collapsed two stories of a
factory. Rescue workers pulled out another body from the rubble
there, bringing the death toll to seven.
