Mother accused of fleeing with non-custodial daughter

HOUSTON

Olga Lidia Perez-Monjaras is wanted on a charge of interfering with child custody, according to a Crime Stoppers statement. Detectives say she picked up her daughter, Katherine Lazo, on December 3 from the child's father's residence for her court ordered visitation but never returned the child.

Authorities say Perez-Monjaras disappeared with the child and has provided no contact information, address, or telephone number. She also had threatened previously to flee to Mexico with the five-year-old daughter.

Perez-Monjaras is 4 feet tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes with a light brown complexion. Her last known address is near the 17000 block of Imperial Valley, although the residence is now vacant.

Perez-Monjaras' bond has been set at $2,000 bond. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
