Lockdown lifted at Livingston High School after threat

LIVINGSTON, TX The lockdown was lifted around 11am. Livingston ISD confirmed the lockdown came as the result of a student posting an online threat against a student or students.

Around 8am, officials were able to locate and identify the student they believe made the threat and that person was being questioned at the Livingston Police Department.

While the incident was under investigation, the school was on lockdown. At the time, school district officials asked parents not to try and come to the school to get kids as they were limiting the access to the building.

Details on the threat have not yet been released.
