Man posing as job applicant robs restaurant

Sugar Land police have released a composite sketch of the man who posed as a job applicant then robbed a restaurant on January 13.

Sugar Land police are searching for a man who posed a job applicant before robbing a popular chain restaurant.

The robbery happened around 4:30pm on January 13 at the Olive Garden in the 5000 block of Sweetwater. The suspect claimed to have a gun, but he never displayed it.

No one was injured in the robbery, but the suspect ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a black male with braided hair wearing a black coat, dark jeans, an Astros hat and white Nike shoes with a purple swoosh. The suspect's description is similar to a man who robbed the Dillards at 16523 Southwest Freeway around 8:15pm on December 17.
