MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX --Montgomery County detectives are searching for a bank robber who wrote a threatening letter to a teller demanding money. The incident happened shortly after noon at a bank in the 9400 block of College Park Drive, according to a Montgomery County Sheriff's Office press release. Detectives say a man entered the bank and handed a teller a note stating he had a gun and demanded cash. The teller complied with the robber's request and he left with an undisclosed amount of money. Investigators say he didn't show a weapon during the robbery. The suspect was seen leaving as a passenger in a dark car possible an early 2000's Chevrolet Impala with paper plates east on FM 1488. He was described only as a black male. Anyone with information regarding his identity is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936-760-5876.
