Bank robber uses note to demand cash

Montgomery County detectives seek identity of man who robbed bank in the 9400 block of College Park Drive around noon Tuesday.

Montgomery County detectives are searching for a bank robber who wrote a threatening letter to a teller demanding money.

The incident happened shortly after noon at a bank in the 9400 block of College Park Drive, according to a Montgomery County Sheriff's Office press release. Detectives say a man entered the bank and handed a teller a note stating he had a gun and demanded cash.

The teller complied with the robber's request and he left with an undisclosed amount of money. Investigators say he didn't show a weapon during the robbery.

The suspect was seen leaving as a passenger in a dark car possible an early 2000's Chevrolet Impala with paper plates east on FM 1488. He was described only as a black male.
