HOUSTON --Crews on Houston's south side are working to clear an overturned 18-wheeler off a narrow stretch of road. The rig flipped over just after 1am on East Anderson Road near Merida. The driver was trying to make a turn, when the rig's back wheels fell into a ditch. That sent the truck on its side. Fire hydrant punctured a fuel tank, but none of the chloride the truck was carrying spilled.
The mess is expected to be cleaned up within a few hours.
