Driver in hospital after train slams into car

HOUSTON The accident happened around 8:45pm Friday night off FM 1960 and Breton Ridge.

The driver of a car was heading east on FM 1960, when he suddenly started going the wrong way. The driver stopped on the railroad tracks and a train slammed into the passenger side of the car.

The driver was the only person inside, and he went to the hospital in serious, but stable condition. The accident caused a major traffic jam as no one could use FM 1960 in either direction for two hours.
