Pearland celebrates high school football title

PEARLAND, TX A victory parade was held for the Pearland Oilers football team and the Lady Oilers softball team. The girls' softball team won a championship back in June. Then in December, the high school football team went on to win the state 5A Division 1 football title.

The team's head coach told us it couldn't have come to a more hard-working squad.

This was Pearland High School's first ever state football championship.
