Police: Teen crawled through ceiling to rob store
HOUSTON
According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office, a suspect broke into a vacant business three doors down from Ace Cash Express in the 3100 block of FM 1960 at Aldine Westfield. The suspect allegedly crawled through three ceilings before dropping down into the Ace Cash.
The suspect, who had on a ski mask, had a pistol and a Taser and threatened to shoot the lone employee.
"He confronted the employee with the Taser and said if he didn't get any money he was gonna Tase her," said Woody Mitchell, Assistant Chief Constable Precinct 4.
The employee gave the suspect a large amount of cash. As the suspect was leaving, he was spotted by two witnesses, one of whom chased the suspect into a nearby apartment complex.
Deputies arrived at the complex to find that a citizen had detained the suspect on the second floor of the complex.
Authorities have arrested Joshua Rasheed, 19. He is charged with aggravated robbery.
The store employee wasn't injured in the robbery.
