Man wanted in security guard killing shot dead in Mexico

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX Montgomery County Sheriff's Office investigators have confirmed that Fidencio Maravillo Martinez was found shot to death in Mexico.

Deputies had obtained a murder warrant for the arrest of Martinez after the investigation in the shooting death of security officer Jose Maximino Benitez. He was shot inside a Taqueria Arandas in Spring on August 14.

Authorities say Martinez was the apparent victim of a murder. They have not released the circumstances behind the shooting in Mexico, nor whether anyone was arrested in his murder.
