Suspects go to court in brothel case

HOUSTON Oliviel Morales and Fernando Herrera went before a judge on charges of organized criminal activity. Police say those men, along with Lucia Cedano, Pedro Salas and Mildays Ramos ran three brothels. Officers say the brothels operated out of apartments in north and northwest Houston, and Pasadena. The attorney for Oliviel Morales said he has a lot of evidence to look through.

"I just got assigned the case this morning," said defense attorney Juan Aguirre. "There's a binder, it's about four inches thick. It's got the offense reports, got DVDs, CDs and photos in it. So it's my job to go through that and decipher it out."

Lucia Cedano will head to court in January. Officers have not arrested Pedro Salas or Mildays Ramos.
