Fugitive on state's most wanted list arrested

AUSTIN, TX John Junior Godinez Pesina, III, 27, was arrested in Austin on Sunday by members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force following a tip to Crime Stoppers. Penina was wanted for murder by Austin police. His girlfriend, Francesca Luna, 26, was also arrested on a murder warrant.

Both Pesina and Luna were wanted by Austin police in connection with a murder back on November 20.

Texas CrimeStoppers will be paying a $7,500 cash reward for the information that led to the arrest of Pesina and Luna.

Texas CrimeStoppers offers rewards up to $10,000 to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in three different ways:

  • Submit a tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and under their picture is a link to submit a web tip.
