Deputies raid indoor pot growing operation

HOUSTON Waller County deputies executed a search warrant that was the result of a six week narcotics investigation. Authorities say the indoor growing operation contained 362 marijuana plants in various stages of cultivation. The estimated valued of the plants is $1,650,000. Also seized were three vehicles, equipment used in the production of indoor cultivation and approximately $4,500 in cash.

Christopher Williams and David Washington, both from the Houston area, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana -- a second degree felony.

Sheriff R. Glenn Smith reminds neighbors to always report any suspicious activity around their homes.
