Chanukah On Ice event being held today

HOUSTON The centerpiece of the event will be an exquisite, giant sculpted menorah made entirely of ice. There will be a very brief program at 7:00pm where the Consul General of Israel and other dignitaries will offer a short greeting. The highlight will be when the 5th light of Chanukah on the Ice Menorah to unite two opposites: fire and water! Thousands will be singing the traditional melodies from all over Discovery Green at the lighting.

Chanukah on Ice is sure to attract all ages including the young in spirit. Children and adults will enjoy ice skating with Clutch from the Houston Rockets. There will be special gifts for the children of Chanukah Gelt, Dreidels & more!

Non-skaters will enjoy the program with Chanukah Live, entertainment, and refreshments.
