It's been a terrifying day for an elderly homeowner in west Houston after a group of gunmen broke into her home and robbed her. She was home alone, around 10am this morning when she says four or five men, all with guns, broke in her back door. It happened on Kimberley and Gessner. The woman says they demanded cash, and she believes the robbers had been watching her.

"I definitely think I was targeted. They seemed to know the layout of my house. They seemed to know I would be here by myself. They kept saying 'go to the office.' How many strangers would know I have an office at home?" the victim told Eyewitness News.

The robbers got away with several hundred dollars in cash and jewelry.

The woman wasn't hurt during the robbery. She says she is getting her door replaced with more reinforcements.
