Fort Bend detectives say a customer helped them capture two suspects who robbed a Sugar Land-area bank. A customer was inside the bank in the 11500 block of Highway 6 just before noon Saturday when he saw a man in front of him hand a teller a note demanding cash. The customer followed the suspect outside, where he saw the suspect get into the passenger side of a Toyota Camry and leave the parking lot.

The customer then followed the suspects' vehicle until they pulled into a home in the 14900 block of Laytham and called the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office to give detectives their location.

Deputies arrived at the home and arrested 19-year-old Lloyd Taylor West and 18-year-old Steven Pless Hines. Both have been charged with robbery are being held in the Fort Bend County Jail on $100,000 bond each.
