Man gunned down while walking in Humble

HUMBLE, TX A man's body was discovered on Bishops Gate Lane near Huntermoor Circle. Witnesses say the man was shot dead when a black Chevy Impala pulled up and the driver got out, pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and then shot the man multiple times, according to authorities.

The victim's girlfriend claims someone called and threatened the man earlier in the day. Deputies believe an argument sometime yesterday between the men led up to the shooting.

Deputies say the shooting appears to be gang-related.

"About the only thing we know right now is that there was a dispute between the dead man and the suspect. It's going to take awhile to sort through all that, but at least we have a direction to go on the case," said Sgt. Larry Davis of the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
