Suspect in Alvin robbery captured on surveillance video

The suspect is described as a white male, late 40s to early 50s, standing around 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt and hat.

Police in Alvin need your help to find the man they say was behind a terrifying robbery at a gas station Saturday. Shortly after noon, police say a man walked into the Chevron on 2850 FM 528 and showed a gun. He demanded money from underneath the counter. He was given the money, which he put in a plastic bag, and ordered the store clerk and a customer to lay down on the floor until he left.

Witnesses say the man took off on foot, but then got into a green Pontiac Sunfire at Ron Carter.

The suspect is described as a white male, late 40s to early 50s, standing around 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt and hat.
