Friendswood man accused of beating elderly father

HOUSTON Jeremy Boll is charged with injury to an elderly person after police say he hit his father about the head.

Police were dispatched to a home in the 17100 block of Blackhawk around 12:14am after Boll called police and said that he and his father had been involved in a physical argument. Boll said the fight started after he left the home and returned to find the doors to house locked and became concerned for his father's welfare.

The father, 70-year-old Roy Boll, suffered injuries to his shoulder, face and nose and was transported to Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, where he is expected to undergo surgery.

Jeremy Boll has been transferred to the Harris County Jail. His bond has not yet been determined.
