Big rig drives off road, plows into parked cars

HOUSTON The 18-wheeler was travelling west on FM 529 Thursday afternoon when for unknown reasons he veered across the eastbound lanes and crashed through the fence into the parking lot of Oceaneering International, Inc. SkyEye HD was over the scene and at least 27 cars were damaged.

The semi driver says someone cut him off, but witnesses told deputies that he just went off the road by himself.

Deputies say the driver showed no signs of intoxication and they don't know why he went off the road. The driver was slightly injured and treated at the scene. The Harris County Sheriff's Office says there were no other injuries.
