Police have a warning for women in Sugar Land to be on the alert. The Sugar Land Police Department has released a composite sketch of a man they say was among a group of men trying to get a woman into a van.

On Thursday, October 28, at approximately 9:45am, a female resident was walking in the 4100 block of Kitchen Hill when she was approached by a white van that appeared to be occupied with at least three Hispanic males. According to police, the passenger side sliding door opened and one of the male suspects yelled at the female resident to get into the van. No physical attempt was made by the suspects to get the female into their van.

The van was described as a new model van with a silver metallic roof rack and dark tinted windows. The composite sketch is of one of the suspects who was seen inside the van.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Sugar Land Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS.
