HOUSTON It's Animal Day at Discovery Green on Saturday. Staring at noon, there will be animals in the park and artist Mark Bradford will show his art car, Zoo Perform. In the evening, the animated film "Fantastic Mr. Fox" will be shown on the big screen at 7pm.

Looking for a little extra incentive to get to Friday? Well, every Friday in November, stop by participating Burger King locations to get a free cup of Seattle's Best Coffee. You'll get one 12-ounce coffee per customer per visit during breakfast hours, only on Fridays in November. This offer is good while supplies last and not valid on flavored shots or whipped topping.

Next Thursday, Novemeber 11 is Veterans Day and there are several freebies around town. Chili's Restaurants wants to salute veterans and those on active duty military with a free meal. Choose from six different menu items including a burger, chicken crispers or chicken pasta. This offer is available during business next Thursday at participating Chili's. Beverages and gratuity are not included, and veterans and active duty military need to show proof of military service.

Outback Steakhouse also wants to honor our heroes with a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage on November 11. The deal is valid during business hours Thursday and you must show military ID. The free beverage will be customer's choice of one non-alcoholic drink.

Over at Bubbles Hand Car Wash, the company wants to honor Veteran's Day with thier "Operation Free for the Brave" by providing a free carwash at any the 12 Bubbles Hand Car Wash centers in the Houston area. And it's not just any car wash. It's a free VIP combo consisting of a hand wash, wheel cleaning, tire shone and polish. That wash normally retails for $27.95. As you drive in, be sure to tell the service agent you are a veteran or currently serving.
