Police: No suspects in 3-year-old murder case

Three years after the murder of a teenager in northwest Houston, detectives still have no suspects, and they're hoping someone might step forward to help them. Alvin Decuier was killed during the early morning hours of October 28, 2007 as he walked home from a friend's home on Mulvey Street near Sakowitz. Detectives say four suspects in a four-door gray compact car shot him.

Witnesses said the suspects called Decuier over to the car, but he didn't seem to know the suspects. He was shot after a brief conversation. Decuier, who was 18, died at the scene.

The suspects fled northbound on Sakowitz. The vehicle is described as a four-door, gray late 80s or early 90s Nissan or Toyota.

Investigators believe the same suspects are responsible for shooting another victim in the 1600 block of Sam Wilson at 1:10 a.m. that same day. The suspects passed the victim, then turned around and shot him as they drove down the street.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477. The agency and private sources are willing to pay up to $6,331 for successful tips.
