Visitors to Wings over Houston treated to history

HOUSTON The Tuskegee Airmen reunited at Ellington Airport, and they shared their story with everyone. They were the first black fighter pilots to serve in the army air corp.

"It just brings back the camaraderie of years ago when we can now sit down and talk about some of the kinds of things that we used to have to put up with, see how far we were, where we are today and say our sacrifice was not in vain," said Donald Elder with the Tuskegee Airmen

You will have a chance to meet the airmen today and get a look at a newly-restored plane they brought with them. They will be at the air show which will wrap-up tonight.
