HOUSTON --On Monday, Houston will host a local and federal hearing on the prevalence and impact of bullying. Officials ranging from state lawmakers to city council members to school board trustees will be there. Parents of bullied children will speak about the negative impact it's had and plead for help. The hearing comes just weeks after Cy-Fair eighth grader Asher Brown killed himself. His parents say Asher committed suicide because he couldn't deal with the constant bullying at school.
