Family asks public to help find suspect in loved one's murder

HOUSTON Crime Stoppers, homicide investigators and family Adam Ortega's family members gathered Friday to urge Houstonians who might know or recognize Margarito Mata Venegas to phone in a tip regarding his whereabouts.

Venegas is accused of fatally shooting Ortego on the September 25. He now faces a murder charge.

No other details regarding the murder were released.

Anyone with information regarding Venegas' whereabouts is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
