SWAT teams compete in Houston event

HOUSTON Harris County is hosting the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association's Annual SWAT Competition. Twelve teams from around the state have spent the past four days training at the sheriff's office academy, competing in 10 different events such as sniper, hostage rescue, and night operations.

"We get to share information on what are the most current and best techniques," said Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia.

The San Antonio Police Department came in first in the overall standings and in the obstacle course. The standings are below:
