Former youth director sentenced in child porn case
BEAUMONT, TX
U.S. Attorney John Bales says a judge sentenced 53-year-old
Patrick Sanders on Tuesday to 57 months in prison followed by 10
years of supervised release. Sanders pleaded guilty in April to
possession of child pornography.
Sanders was arrested last year after law enforcement officers
acting on a tip found images of child pornography on his computer
at the Boys & Girls Club of Lufkin.
Boys & Girls Club of Deep East Texas Executive Director Jeff
Woods says Sanders was fired shortly after his arrest.
