Two traffic alerts for commuters this weekend

HOUSTON The first is just outside of downtown. Right now the connector ramp between the Gulf Freeway northbound and the East Freeway eastbound is shut down. Crews closed it last night for construction. It reopens tomorrow night at 11pm.

And there's more work at the interchange of the Eastex Freeway and the East Freeway. Right now north and southbound connector ramps from 59 to westbound I-10 are shut down. They will be closed until Monday.

The connector ramp from I-10 east to 59 south will also be closed on Sunday from 5am to 9pm.
