HOUSTON Back on August 14, Michael Hale, 23, and his girlfriend got into an argument. Police say the girlfriend went upstairs of their home to gather her belongings to leave him. That's when Hale allegedly became enraged, followed her upstairs, threw her on a bed and began to choke her.

The woman was able to get away and call police and that's when investigators say Hale fled.

Hale was charged with assault and a warrant was issued for his arrested. Investigators say in an unrelated matter, Hale is facing a theft charge.

Hale stands 5-foot-9 and weighs around 165 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair with a tattoo on his right arm.
