Armed robber gets away with $30K on bike

Police are asking for help to find a man who held up a League City bank at gunpoint, then got away with a small fortune on a bicycle. On Wednesday, at approximately 8:15pm, an armed robbery occurred at the IBC Bank located inside of the HEB at 2955 S. Gulf Freeway in League City.? Police say an Asian or Hispanic male, approximately 5'5" tall, with a thin build, approximately 25 to 30 years old, walked into the bank.? The suspect escorted the employees into an office, displayed a weapon, and ordered them to open the safe.? The suspect then fled the scene after receiving the cash.

??????????? The suspect was neatly dressed in a white long sleeve shirt, black vest, slacks and tie.? He has black short, spiky hair and was wearing what appears to be prescription glasses. ???????????

The suspect, who got away with about $30,000 in cash, arrived at the bank on a bicycle and made his getaway the same way.

The League City Police Department is asking for assistance of anyone who recognizes the suspect.
