A drug dog was called and it detected drugs in the vehicle, which used to be a police cruiser. A search revealed a total of 40 pounds of marijuana inside a spare tire and back seat.
Both the man and woman were taken into custody.
Deputy finds pot in car during traffic stop
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX
The deputy pulled over a man and woman on the Eastex Freeway in Splendora last night, and became suspicious when he saw handcuffs hanging from the rear view mirror. The driver and passenger also gave him conflicting stories about where they were from and where they were going.
