Two Houston firefighters killed in line of duty honored

HOUSTON The widows of Captain James Harlow and firefighter Damion Hobbs cut the ribbon to open a new garden at Fire Station 26. Harlow and Hobbs died fighting a fire on Easter Sunday of last year. The department also presented a plaque to the Harlow and Hobbs family which bears a special poem.

"There's a special place in heaven for firefighters who leave this earth," read Jackie Hanson with the Houston Fire Department. "It's their final reward for never receiving what they're really worth. We sing of a mansion. You will go to a sweet by and by. But their place is more than a mansion. It's a fire house in the sky."

The fire department said the memorial garden will remain a place for the Harlow and Hobbs families to go to remember their loved ones.
