Two traffic hot spots to watch out for

HOUSTON The first is near downtown. The Katy Freeway eastbound is shut down at the North Freeway. It will remain closed until 5am Monday. The 45 north and southbound ramps to I-10 will also remain closed at that intersection until 5am Monday.

The second location is the Eastex Freeway southbound at the Beltway. Also, the southbound connector ramp to Beltway 8 westbound is closed. TxDOT shut it down just after 5am this morning and it will remain closed until midnight. You can take the detour onto the 59 southbound frontage road to Beltway 8.
