Suspect robs chain restaurant employees at gunpoint

SUGAR LAND, TX The suspect had entered the fast food chain in the 10000 block of State Highway 6 South on July 4 to dine in, according to a Crime Stoppers statement. As the four employees began to close the restaurant, the suspect went into the employees' access area and ordered them to go into the kitchen.

The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded their wallets and cell phones. He also took money from the cash register.

The suspect also had demanded cash from a safe, but none of the employees had access to it, so he pistol whipped one of them.

The suspect eventually fled the store through a rear kitchen door with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was seen getting into a 2000 white Cadillac Escalade parked behind a nearby gas station and head east on Old Richmond Road.

The suspect is described as a black male between the age of 30 and 40. He was wearing a black cap, gray polo style shirt and blue jean shorts. The 2000 white Cadillac Escalade is described as having chrome wheels and dark tinted windows.
