Police need your help to find suspected seafood thief

HOUSTON Police say the woman they're looking for was captured on surveillance video at a northwest Houston grocery store back on September 5. They say she had a large bag that she put inside a basket and went straight to the seafood section. They say she began filling up the bag with seafood and then tried to leave the store.

She was stopped by a store employee as she tried to leave. She left her basket, say investigators, but grabbed her bag and took off. She reportedly got into the passenger side of a maroon SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, which was waiting for her outside the store.

The suspect is said to be a white female in her mid twenties. She is 5-foot-7 and weighs around 120 pounds. She is believed to have been involved in similar thefts dating back to 2009.
