Car wash owner accused of credit card fraud

A car wash owner is accused of stealing credit card information from his customers. On Thursday, detectives with the Baytown Police Department arrested Juan Ramon Reyes, Jr., a 39-year-old Baytown resident, for credit card abuse. Reyes is the owner of Cars R Us Car Wash located in the 1000 block of N. Alexander.

Police say after several months of investigation, detectives were able to determine that Reyes and Edrey Santos, 25, had used 15 customers' credit card information to make purchases in excess of $16,000. Reyes has been charged with felony credit card abuse and is being held without bond.

Santos was charged with felony credit card abuse and is also being sought by Florida authorities for his alleged involvement in similar crimes. Santos' location is unknown.
