Police say a 14-year-old child who disappeared from the UH-Downtown campus Wednesday evening has been found safe. The child's father, who is an employee at the university, picked up the boy from school and brought him back to his office, where he was doing homework, police said. The boy went to go to the restroom but never returned, and when his father went to search for him, he wasn't anywhere to be found.

Police say there is no evidence that he was abducted or any foul play occurred.

The boy's been described only as an Hispanic male who is 5 feet 10 inches and weighs around 120 pounds. He has short black hair and a red stone earring in his left ear.

On Thursday afternoon police told Eyewitness News the boy has been found safe, but no further details have been provided.
