SPCA helps two-legged dog get wheelchair

HOUSTON The owner of Doxy the dog picked up a custom-designed mobility cart at the Houston SPCA. The two-legged dachshund can move around on her hind legs, but the SPCA says that won't be safe as the dog gets older.

Owner Gina Baker says the cart opens a whole new world for Doxy.

"She's not going to be stuck in that crate," Baker said. "And then outside I think she's going to have a blast running around."

Baker says her other two dogs are a little jealous of the attention Doxy is getting, but the whole family is adjusting well.
