Authorities seek info in fatal shooting of TSU student

Authorities are seeking information in the fatal shooting of TSU student Joshua McMackle on April 17, 2010.

Authorities are asking for the public's assistance with any information on the murder of Joshua McMackle, a student at Texas Southern University, earlier this year. McMackle was attending a party on April 17 in the 3700 block of Wheeler. A fight broke out and shots were fired. McMackle was shot in the back as he was running down Wheeler. He died at a local hospital as a result of his injuries.

"Finally, to the one responsible for my nephew's death, what you did will never be forgotten, taken a life that mattered. I ask that you come forward and turn yourself in," said the victim's aunt, Lori Hinnenkamp.
