Police: Murder suspect admits to stabbing

Mario Armando Servin-Pedraza was arrested and charged with murder in connection to the slaying of Hector Medina Guerrero. Police say Servin-Pedraza admitted to stabbing the 36-year-old when a confrontation at Guerrero's home early Tuesday morning escalated.

A murder charge was filed against a 20-year-old who police say admitted to fatally stabbing his alleged nemesis during a fight. Mario Armando Servin-Pedraza was arrested on Tuesday in connection to the slaying of 36-year-old Hector Medina Guerrero hours earlier, according to a Houston Police Department statement.

Guerrero's body was found in his home in the 6000 block of Bellaire Boulevard. Police say he was stabbed several times around 3:20am Tuesday.

Servin-Pedraza allegedly told police he and Guerrero had been in an ongoing feud when a confrontation at Guerrero's home escalated to the stabbing.

Servin-Pedraza is being held on a $50,000 bond. His court hearing has been scheduled for Thursday.
