Man robs bank, flees in taxi again

HOUSTON At approximately 12:25pm Tuesday, the suspect entered the Chase bank located at 3403 Richmond and walked to a teller counter. He handed the teller a note which stated he had a gun and demanded money. The teller provided him with some cash. He fled the bank on foot and was picked up by a minivan yellow cab. No one was physically hurt.

The robber is described as a white male, 35-40 years of age, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 170-180 pounds with a medium build, short brown hair and a fair complexion. During the robbery, he wore sunglasses on top of his head, a short-sleeved blue polo shirt and dark pants.

He is also suspected in the robbery of the Chase bank located at 4313 Montrose on September 2.
