FBI seeks identity of Bellaire bank robber

FBI detectives have released surveillance camera photos of a suspect who used a demand note to rob a bank in Bellaire on Friday afternoon. Anyone with information regarding this suspect is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.

Detectives are searching for a suspect who used a threatening demand note during a robbery at a bank in Bellaire. The suspect handed the note to a teller at a bank in the 9700 block of Bellaire on Friday afternoon, according to an FBI Bank Robbery Task Force statement. The man took the money and his demand note before leaving the bank on foot.

No one saw a weapon or was physically hurt during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, who is 35-40 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a dark complexion. During the robbery, he wore a dark baseball cap, sunglasses, black tee-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes and white socks.
