Slick roads may be to blame for fatal accident

HOUSTON It happened in the 6300 block of Rampart at High Star just after 2am. Police say the driver of a Toyota Corolla lost control and smashed into an electric pole, splitting it in half.

The 23-year-old male victim died at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences

The investigation is continuing.
