Parolee escapes from Harris Co. treatment facility

HOUSTON The man broke out of the Harris County Community corrections facility in the Humble area around 7pm last night. About a dozen officers worked for two hours searching a wooden area for the man. That was when they found out he was actually in the facility as part of his probation.

"It's not a prison escape, it's a condition of their probation that they are ordered to go to," said Lt. Kenneth Key with the Harris County Constables Office.

Authorities aren't releasing the man's name. They say they will go back to court to get more charges against him.
