Two men are still on the loose and one is in custody, facing several charges after a series of crimes that led to a chase in The Heights. Police say it all started when three men robbed a man who was walking his dog last night. They took him back to his home, robbed him and his neighbor.

They say the men tried to leave in their car, but it wouldn't start. So, they split up.

Police say that's when one of the guys carjacked a man at a restaurant on 11th Street.

An off-duty deputy, trying to help, opened fire when the robber attempted to run him over.

Houston police arrived, and that led to a chase. The robber crashed nearby and was caught.

If you know where the other suspects are, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
