It took dozens of firefighters to help knock out a fire at a Pasadena area townhome complex this morning. The flames broke out at the Willow Oaks Townhomes after 6:30am on Willow Oaks Circle at Jenkins. Heavy smoke from the fire could be seen from miles away. Firefighters tapped out the fire around 7:30am, but a few hot spots flared up again.

At least two townhomes were destroyed and two other units suffered water damage. Fire officials say there were fire walls in the attic, which helped contain the fire. Deer Park, South Houston and the Houston Fire Departments helped put out the fire.

There were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
